Peaches was a one in a million kitty. Her story is the same as most, abandoned with her brother after five years with one family, she found her way to the shelter then into my arms. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, gentle girl. She was diagnosed with Osteoscaroma (Bone Tumors). opted for an amputation, but x-rays discovered that it has spread to her lungs. I made one of the most difficult decisions I'd ever made. I had to let her go. It was a sad and beautiful moment. It is a gift to be a part of that with them and that we even have the ability to end their suffering. It was only three short weeks from diagnosis to the end. She held a special place in my life & in my heart. There will never be another one that could even compare to her. I will miss her all the days of my life. Her brother & I will keep her close in our memories. Sleep well my darling, I will see you again someday.
