Baxter was the staff favorite at a local shelter, and tried very hard to attract a new family in the nearly 2 months he was there. Poor guy – it’s hard to compete with all the fluffy little kittens that are also waiting for new homes. Baxter is sweet, gentle and loving. He has a calm demeanor and would make an excellent companion. He is fine with friendly cats and would be great with older kids (very young kids tend to scare him a little). He may be dog friendly too – we just haven’t tried him with a dog yet. This large, lovable boy is hoping for a great home – stop by to see him at our center – you won’t be sorry!
