WHY SHOULD I SPAY OR NEUTER MY PET????
Every day in this country, thousands of kittens and puppies are born. Sadly, many of them will not find homes.
The Humane Society of the U.S. estimates that 6 – 8 MILLION cats and dogs enter animal shelters each year. Only 3 – 4 MILLION will find homes.
Spaying and Neutering not only helps stop pet overpopulation, the operation can help dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives. Spayed/neutered pets are less likely to roam, run away, get into fights, or bite.
We tend to think that our own dog and cat is so special, that we want a puppy or kitten just like them. The fact is, that is unlikely to happen. Even professional breeders cannot make a guarantee. There are shelter pets waiting for homes who are just as cute, smart, sweet and loving as your own.
Myth: It’s better for my pet to have one litter before spaying.
Fact: It’s just the opposite. Many veterinarians now spay and neuter as young as eight weeks of age.

PLEASE SPAY OR NEUTER NOW!! Kitten season is just beginning. Only YOU can help prevent the many unwanted litters that will be sent to shelters, many to their deaths.
YOU CAN STOP IT!!
